My healing journey began in 2002, the day I finally found the courage to leave my abusive partner of six years. I packed up everything I could fit into my Honda Civic, buckled in my 2-year-old and 2-month-old, and drove straight into the unknown.
I thought leaving would be the answer—but it wasn’t.
For the next five years, I bled my unhealed trauma onto everyone and everything around me. Until one day, I got tired of my own patterns. I knew I wanted more—for myself, for my children, and for the world I was moving through. So I started talk therapy. Thirteen years of it. It helped me survive, process, and stay afloat—but I still felt like something was missing. That longing led me to Energy Healing… and then, to Sound Healing. That’s when everything changed.
Hi, I’m Maria Voorhees-Reincke—an Intuitive Energy Healer, Sound Healer, and Reiki Master. But more than titles, I’m a woman who’s walked through darkness and chosen to rise. My path isn’t polished—it’s lived, raw, and real.
Over the years, I’ve followed the call to deepen this work: I became certified in Healing Touch in 2016, Sound Healing in 2020, and Reiki Mastery in 2021. I’ve studied meditation, Akashic Records, Oracle Cards, crystals, mediumship, and more. I’ve attended countless drum circles, sat with Spirit, and let the vibrations of the bowls break me wide open.
